Seasons of a Lady
Seasons of a Lady is a new choreopoem play co-written by Keely Augustus and international writer Chiedza Dzika.
“That love came gushing in, like an ocean ravaging the shore. This love, that housed my unbridled ways and kept my anarchy at bay. For a season, Was the reason I eventually came undone..”
Rooted in spoken word, movement and song, this one hour play examines the premise of love and toxic relationships, reliving the individual journeys of four women at different stages of their lives.
“People come into your life for a lifetime, a reason, or a Season. When you figure out which it is, you’ll know exactly what to do.”
Co-written by Keely Augustus and international writer Chiedza Dzika, directed by Keely Augustus and produced by award winning producer Olusola Oyeleye.
