Tara Arts' People, Words & Art: Connecting Worlds
The beautiful New Tara Theatre opens early 2016 it will be a national landmark - an intimate home for cross-cultural theatre, fusing architectural styles from East and West.
The new Theatre will enlarge our existing intimate Tardis-like space, offering even more surprises to audiences and artists alike:
Audiences will enjoy comfortable seating, an enlarged foyer and a new patio garden. Artists will benefit from a new rehearsal and workshop space, new green room facilities and a unique earth floor as an optional stage on which to exercise their magic. A distinctive tree motif carved on the Edwardian façade of the new Tara Theatre will welcome audiences and artists alike into a bower for people, words & art.
